Mac OS X (alpha)

Download Lubyk.dmg. This is alpha software: we are rewriting the threading model and fixing bugs so we should have something more stable by the end of September 2011. In the meantime, this installer can be used to play with Lubyk libraries (since the app is unstable).

If this is your first installation of Lubyk, please run this command after copying the application to the Applications folder:

sudo /Applications/Lubyk.app/Contents/Resources/install.sh

Test

If you want to do a simple test, download moons.lua and run with:

lua moons.lua

Quit all lubyk processes

If scripts hang, you can use CMD+K in the Lubyk application. If the application hangs, you can use this:

lubyk halt

But sometimes, the last resort is the Activity Monitor (the script above supposes that the network is responding).
